Our sweet little ...



is going to be a BIG SISTER to a little brother!!!! Our sonogram went very well today. Everything is on track and growing as it should. God is SO good!

I've had these bookmarked on the computer FOREVER waiting to order these coordinating tops for the kiddos, just waiting to find out what this next would be!!!!

Our First Outing w/ Just Auntie Robin & Micah!

Friday we met Auntie Robin and Micah for lunch at Pei Wei. We stopped into a couple shops and on to Yogurt Planet! As you can see Charly loved the chocolate yogurt!

How sweet is this little Micah... Robin sent this picture today. TOO CUTE.

Saturday at Opa & Meemaw's House

Saturday Morning, Charly and I set out for Home Depot to get the most fabulous paint color you will ever see and painting supplies for a project, then headed to Fredericksburg.


Sweet Meemaw watched Charly so Opa and I could repair, sand and repaint this chair. It comes from an old antique dining set from Paul's side of the family. We are not sure what happened to the rest of the set, but this chair has been sitting in Paul's workshop for 5 years now and it was killing me. So with a little TLC, this will be a key piece in Charly's new room! I absolutely LOVE that Charly will have a little piece of her past in her room.

Here is the first coat!!!!!! We still need one more coat to finish her up!

And a chair pad is going on the seat made out of this velvet material!!!!

Sunday Fun-day

This morning on our way home from Church, Charly was playing with an old pair of sunglasses. We looked back there and she was just chillin' with these on upside-down, she was as serious as she could be... we couldn't help but crack up!!!!!

This evening Charly helped Daddy set up a new tent in the ever improving play area! We have lots of new fun stuff on its way. After going to the Hurt's house last weekend and playing in Sheppard and Beckett's AWESOME playroom, we got lots of good and fun ideas to update the play area!

Dad-da was all wet from roping in the rain :)







She kept kissing the side of the tent and giggling :)

And before bed, this little sweet pea was "reading" a book to her bunny that she so perfectly perched next to her...

First day of Mom to Mom...

All dressed and ready to go! We had our first day of Mom to Mom at Lake Hills Church this morning. Charly has a new class room and teachers "pink ladies" this year but has lots of her same classmates.


This was Charly not even 5 minutes into the car ride home! Someone had fun with her church friends :)

I attacked C with pink toe nail polish for the first time last night! She looks like such a big girl :)

And we couldn't pass up this halloween tee at Old Navy... the tee says it all!!!!

BIG Weekend!

This Labor Day weekend has been jam packed with loads of fun and many blessings.
Friday we went out to Mandola's for a "YAY GOD" dinner with the Dregits. We didn't get to snap a picture b/c we were all trying to keep Charly happy and distracted. Unfortunately, no more nice dinners with Charly! I guess she's at that age :(

Saturday at 12:32 that afternoon, Robin had a beautiful baby boy, Micah! She did amazing. Her labor was over 17 hours and she pushed for over 2 hours. Micah was 8 pounds 1 ounce & 21 inches long. Congratulations Sister! You are a rock star :)

Saturday Evening we went out to the Clark's Lake House for steaks and had a great time with Team Clark. Charly had a blast in the lake with daddy and her first boat ride while pulling Ryan and Cole on the tube!









And Sunday evening we went over to the Horne's for a sweet cookout with the Dregits and the Hurts. All the kids had a blast playing together and Elizabeth & the guys played a fun game of Croquet in between the kid's turn!
